First Edition. Scarce. In hardback red cloth. Inside original unclipped dust jacket. Energy resources affect socio-economic development. Dr Chaman Kashkari’s book was written almost 50 years ago (1975) when it became obvious that the need to explore India’s energy resources and conservation was on a steep curve in demand. It looks at energy on the micro as well as the macro level. With graphs and illustrations in b/w. Dust jacket has some nicks to edges but is overall good. Inside book is very clean and fresh looking. xvii, 231 pp. 240 x 160 mm (9½ x 6¼ inches).
