Elegantly hand-bound in full red morocco, spine gilt-lettered in six compartments with raised bands, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Contents mostly clean with a few minor spots/marks, vintage tape repairs to top corner of the first gathering leaves, some browning to half-title, minor abrasion to same corner. Very good, in an attractive recent full leather binding. The British title for the novel published as 'The Sun Also Rises' in America. The text of the UK first printing features the misprint 'Stones' for 'Stories', page 2, line 2 (the verso of the half title). A particularly scarce book. Hanneman.
