12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 480 pages; 1st edition of the translation prepared by Rupp and the 1st English language American edition. Full calf. This is essentially a binding / restoration copy. The binding is almost completely split mid-book with a full vertical separation of the leather down the center of the spine. Shallow chipping to leather at spine ends; rubbing and rounding to corners. White paper adhering to the lower board from damp exposure. Page stock toned and lightly spotted, but still generally pliable if not supple. Endpages complete. No prior ownership indications. Fair to good only. A copy for restoration or rebinding.
