First edition. The book is firmly bound in clean dark blue cloth lettered in gilt to the spine, the extremities are slightly bumped and rubbed. The text block is slightly foxed and age toned. The Maurice Skye designed dust jacket is the original and not price clipped, it is slightly rubbed and grubby with minor nicks to the edges and the spine is sunned. An Australian young man comes to England looking to trace his ancestral roots, but finds out that he is descended from a convict. Fortunately, he also finds love and a mystery to solve, so not an entirely wasted journey. Seller Inventory # 5454
