First US edition, first printing. Publisher's original quarter green cloth and black boards with gilt titles to the spine, in the Paul Spina illustrated dustwrapper. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the boards bright and fresh. The contents, with the bookplate of the American book collector Adrian Homer Goldstone to the front pastedown, and a small strip of offsetting to the free endpapers, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the very lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped ($4.95 to the front flap).
