Complete two volume set in matching contemporary panelled calf hardback bindings, rebacked with original spines relaid. Firm and square, strong joints, just moderately rubbed. Contents tight and clean. No pen-marks. Not from a library so no such stamps or labels. Size: Folio (350mm x 240mm). Title-pages in red and black. Complete with 71 portrait plates and 5 maps and plans, all of which are in very good order with no splits. Thus a very very presentable set of books. Bibliographic reference: ESTC T53873. Scarce.
