Item description from seller

8vo, pp. xxii, [ii], 128; a bit spotted; disbound. Fourth edition: first printed and circulated privately in 1835 (two editions), followed by general publication when the play was performed at Covent Garden. This is the first edition with the addition of eight sonnets at the end of the book, and with a substantial new preface, dated November 1837. Several of the sonnets recollect Talfourd's childhood at Reading (and his education under Valpy at Reading School), but one of them is addressed to Macready, 'on his performance of Werner, in Lord Byron's tragedy of the same name'.
