4 ° (29.4: 23.2 cm). Original brown leather strap with gold-embossed back title and gold head cut. The spine of the book rubbed hard, the corners slightly bumped. Upper capital with 1.0 cm missing part. Front outer joint chipped 8 cm below. Heraldic ex-libris August Wollaston Franks in the front inner cover. 2/3 of the cover paper torn in the front attachment, therefore the book block loosened somewhat. XX, 116 pages with 50 black and white text illustrations and 51 plates numbered I - L with an additional plate XXII *. Only occasionally a finger stain in the margins. Pp. 46 and 110 each a small correction in ink. Of the Tfalen 22 colored, the rest in black and white. Checked page by page. Good copy apart from the spine. -- 4° ( 29,4 : 23,2 cm). Brauner Originalhalblederband mit goldgeprägtem Rückentitel und Kopfgoldschnitt. Der Buchrücken stark abgerieben, die Ecken etwas bestoßen. Oberes Kapital mit 1,0 cm Fehlstelle. Das Bezugspapier im vorderen Vorsatz zu 2/3 angerissen, daher der Buchblock etwas gelockert. XX, 116 Seiten mit 50 schwarz-weißen Textabbildungen und 51 Tafeln nummeriert I - L mit einer zusätzlichen Tafeln XXII*. In den Rändern nur gelegentlich ein Fingerfleck.
