About this Item

(London: Raynoil Maps Ltd 1933). Believed to be a First UK Edition. A softcover production (not issued with a D.W) priced 2/- to the front cover. Concertina-style double-sided map of the routes with decorations by Edward Bawden. Minor marks to the covers otherwise VG indeed with clean interior. A scarce piece of Bawden airmail ephemera. It appears likely that Bawden designed this work whilst employed by the Stuart Advertising Agency where he produced some of his most humorous and innovative work for Fortnum & Mason and Imperial Airways.
