First edition thus. "In 1820 a new edition of Hamilton appeared, edited by Elias Johnston, who states that the text had been revised with the advice and approbation of the author. Bywater and Yamey p. 188. ICAEW, p. 141. See Bywater & Yamey, p. 188. Octavo (214 x 130 mm), pp. xiv, 563, [1]. Contemporary tree sheep, flat spine ruled gilt, red morocco label. Spine chipped at foot, front joint cracked at extremities, but still strong. Small wormtrack to lower margin of last 20 leaves, just touching text; a very good copy.
