First edition, first printing. Softcover issue. Original pictorial card covers with white titles to the spine and front panel. Illustrated in colour throughout. A very near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the extremities very slightly rubbed. The contents are clean throughout without inscriptions or stamps. Issued simultaneously in softcover and hardcover on the occassion of the major exhibition of the artist's work at the Royal Academy.
