First book about Jim Clark, written in the period between his two World Championships. This book has been SIGNED to the title page by Ian Scott Watson. Scott Watson is one of the dedicatees of this book, and he compiled the detailed appendices of Clark's racing records. Scott-Watson is credited by Clark in his author's note as "the man without whose help and constant encouragement I would probably never have embarked upon a motor racing career". Facing the title page is the frontispiece photograph of Clark leaning against a Lotus Elan to which Scott-Watson has inscribed the following: "My old Elan still exists! Now beautifully restored. Believed to be the very first Elan. Sept 2002. Ian Scott Watson". Near Fine condition book with just a small knock to the bottom of the spine and in a Near Fine jacket.
