Item description from seller

The sole UK printing published by the Kynoch Press, Birmingham in nd (1932). The BOOK is in Very Good+ condition. Original buff cloth printed in red with an illustration to upper cover. The boards are slightly splayed and a little darkened to the edges with some very lightly rubbing in places. Some age related markings to the boards. The spine is toned and darkened but the red titling is legible but faded. A small dark mark to the upper spine tip. Internally, the previous owner has neatly penned entries on ten pages and on one page of the 'Notes' section' to the rear (see images). The book is protected in a removable Mylar cover. Ravilious provides a headpiece illustration at the beginning of every week, those at the beginning of the month in red and the others in black and white. The Kynoch Press was the in house printing division of I.C.I. and their notebooks were in effect diaries for the use of employees and customers. As well as all the company printing it executed independent fine printing, particularly under the aegis of Herbert Simon from 1922-33 when it commissioned several notable artists. The limitation is unknown but this is a very scarce title to find in any collectible condition, with less than a handful of copies having appeared at auction in the last 30 years. More images available on request. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
