First Edition, First Printing A fantastic bright near fine example of this title with a clean, crisp book and a vibrant near fine unclipped dust jacket. Original black covered boards with sharp corners and no edgewear. Superb book with a bright unfaded gilt medallion to front and gilt titles to spine. The binding is tight and square. The original end pages are clean with No owner names, no bookplates, no inscriptions and no bookstore stamps. The lovely internal pages are clean, bright and flat with no bent pages, no handling marks, no stains and no foxing. An unusual clean, crisp, example with stunning boards with gilt titles and medallion. Please see images for details. The book comes with a bright, stunning original first edition dust jacket which has benefited from very slight restoration to the spine tips by an expert paper conservator and presents in near fine condition. Three states of the true first edition dust jacket were printed for LIVE AND LET DIE, with all 3 states of the first edition jacket look identical with the exception of the one sentence credit statement to the dust jacket designer located on the inside front flap. This example has the Kenneth Lewis statement on the front flap. The dust jacket has strong vibrant colors with No rips, No chips, No edgewear, No tears, No stains, No fading and No foxing. Typical light toning to the rear panel. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a stated price of 10s 6d. net. An absolutely stunning dust jacket. Please see the many images.
