The authors were C. D. Ollier, C. J. Lawrance, P. H. T. Beckett, and R. Webster and was conducted by the Department of Agriculture, University of Oxford. The illustrations consist of aerial photographs, with contured drawings showing the shape of the land as well as geological information. Also included are ordinary maps drawn in line as well as ground photographs. The pages are printed on large (38 x 51 centimetre) sheets and enclosed in a ring binder with cloth covered boards. An ex-University library copy with bookplate. A very nice copy of the first edition in the publisher's cloth.
