(Manchester: Associated Newspapers n.d late 1930s). First UK Edition. A small format publication of "gags" originally included as an insert with the Sunday Dispatch. Max Miller wrote for the Sunday Dispatch (from December 1939 to July 1940) by arrangement with Warner Brothers. These inserts of slightly risque "double entendre" jokes from the early months of WW2 must be exceedingly scarce. Photographs/scans available upon request.
