Very finely bound by Morrell in full calf, double gilt fillet borders, the spines with raised bands and contrasting lettering pieces of read and black leather.All joints and hinfges are sound and secure,lower part of vol 3 upper joint sl darkened. A lovely quartet of books relating to Gilbert Elliot who was Governer-General of India 1806-1813 and Viceroy of Corsica 1794-1796. His brother Hugh was Governor of Madras.
