[8], 86pp, [1]. Contemporary gilt-ruled calf, later rebacked, preserving contemporary spine panel. Extremities rubbed, marked, and bumped. Hinges exposed, pen and pencil trials to front and rear endpapers, title page laid down, occasional spotting. An apparently unrecorded edition, seemingly the first, of a set of pricing tables for the purchase of coal by the chaldron (a now redundant measure of dry volume). 'The proprietors of this present Work having been often call'd upon for a Book of this Kind, have (with some Expence) procur'd a Complete Copy with Metage-Mony.the Whole more correct than any thing of this Nature hitherto published, makes it very useful to all Lighter-men, Coal-Merchants, and other Gentlemen, who have occasion either to buy or sell large Quantities of Coals'.
