[Crime Mystery] FIRST EDITION PRESENTED WITH ORIGINAL JACKET ARTWORK. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp.192. Publisher's orange cloth with black titles to spine. With the dust-jacket illustrated by William Randell, priced at 10/6. Together with the original artwork hand-painted by Randell (29 x 22cm), with original notes in ink and pencil to backing board. Presented in a custom-made fleece-lined black quarter morocco clamshell box, with gilt titles to spine and black cloth over sides. Total dimensions 33 x 24cm. A lovely crisp copy with just a little rubbing jacket edges. Artwork in lovely bright condition, with some wear due to its original use. Fine. A unique presentation of this classic crime mystery set in a nursing home for burnt-out financiers.
