About this Item
Publisher s orange binding with black lettering to the front board and spine and which are ruled at the head and foot of the spine. A VG copy with slight pushing to the spine tips and foxing to the page edges. The boards are bright and clean. The D/W is priced 7/6 net to the spine as called for. The D/W is in G+ condition with several medium-sized chips (including one at the base of the spine affecting most of the publisher s name) and is quite creased and torn. Several of the tears have been unnecessarily reinforced on the back of the D/W. Not-the-prettiest copy but undeniably scarce. Described by Copper and Pike as a traditional adventure thriller involving drugs and impersonation. With the signature of the author s brother (Ellis Pargeter as E.E. Pargeter) on the FFEP.
