About this Item
First UK Edition. G E Breary (illustrator). The first Lone Pine adventure, and the author's first children's book. Publisher s original red cloth with black lettering in D/W (priced 7/6 net to the inside flap as called for). The book is a VG+ nice clean copy with light foxing to the top edge which also has a couple of minor ink splodges. The contents are fresh and clean. The D/W is about VG and is torn, worn, rubbed and lightly chipped but basically 95% intact. A very, very scarce first edition in D/W, only the second copy we have encountered.
