First edition, first printing. Publisher's original quarter black leather and illustrated cloth boards, with gilt titles to the spine, in the black card slipcase. Top edge dark brown. Richly illustrated with a colour frontispiece and 12 colour plates by Grahame Baker throughout. A lovely fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh, with just a hint of rubbing to the extremities. The contents are clean throughout, and without inscriptions or stamps.
