First edition. English language edition. Original cloth binding with gilt and black embossed title and book decoration. With 6 sectional models in colour mounted on plates (including a sheet with a key to the machine parts) as well as 238 black and white figures within the text. Binding a bit rubbed and slightly stained, corners bumped, 3 models with moderate crease marks to the edges (the ones facing the page's inside margin), plates minimally foxy and darkened, few pages with foxy margins as well as pages with the key to the models darkened and with foxing. Altogether still near fine copy.
