Covers lightly surface soiled and corner creased, with foxing to inner face. Corner tips creased otherwise contents clean; no annotation or inscriptions. A Very Good copy. Brief guide to the newly fashionable art of phrenology, based upon the works of Dr Comb of Edinburgh and Dr MacKnish of Glasgow, with historical notes. Small enough to fit in a pocket, the handy guide includes the necessary diagrams for reading the bumps on the subject's head to determine their character,providing a popular diversion as a parlour game.
