An introductory note explains the absolute rarity of offprints of Turing's papers with not a single opportunity to buy any in auction or bookseller's catalogues in the preceding 25 years. The catalogue offers "the offprint collection of one of [Turing's] few major supporters and scientific friends; it is unlikely that such a collection could ever be replicated".
