Spine is faded to brown, and is worn and torn at top, with some missing pieces, and worn at bottom, with a scrape. Corners of covers are bumped and bent, with some splitting of the cloth. Covers have some scuffing. Inside front cover has a bookplate from a previous owner and front endpaper has the name of a previous owner and a date of 1842 written in middle. Inner back hinge is split by back cover. Back cover has a bookstore sticker at bottom. Pages have some tanning. Some pages have foxing. Book is in fair condition.
