First UK Edition. Publisher's red boards with black spine lettering. Boards quite bright, slightly soft spine tips. A couple of tiny bumps to the boards and pages toned due to the poor quality of paper used otherwise a VG+ copy. In the UNCOMMON VG+ D/W priced 11s 6d net to the inside flap (as called for) with a tiny chip from the top right hand corner of the front panel. It is NOT price-clipped Features Shakespearean actor, mountaineer and amateur detective Abercrombie Lewker, or "Filthy" as his friends and wife call him. Photographs/scans available upon request.
