About this Item
Third edition. Publisher's original quarter tan cloth over paper-covered boards with titles in black to the upper board and spine. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with just a little rubbing to the boards and minor bumping to the extremities. The contents with foxing to the text-block edge are otherwise clean throughout and free from any previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. A bright, attractive copy. The first volume (the second was published separately) of this collection gathering together "all the most important writings of Gandhi on the subject of non-violence". This third edition, published in the year of Gandhi's death, consisted of 6,000 copies, following the 2,000 of the 1942 first edition and the 2,200 of the 1944 second edition. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request. Lucius Books welcomes direct contact with our customers. Seller Inventory # 18223
