Folio, half title in red & black reading 'Nineteenth Century art with illustrations from pictures and objects in the Fine Art Loan Collection of the Glasgow International Exhibition, 1901,' main title in red & black, plates, tissue guards, finely bound in full contemporary blue morocco, spine gilt in compartments with thistle motif within raised bands, gilt crest of Scotland on upper cover, gilt rule borders, gilt rules on turnovers, t.e.g., by Maclehose of Glasgow, a very fine and attractive copy. Number nine of twenty copies on Japanese vellum and this one printed for George B. Hoggan. A total of 320 copies were printed of this Large Paper edition. [Extra postage required for overseas].
