First edition of the final Kelmscott Press book, one of 525 copies on paper. The erratum slip calls for a correction to be made to page 44, and the text has here been duly altered in red ink. Peterson A53. Octavo. Woodcut frontispiece by Edward Burne-Jones, elaborate woodcut borders and initials throughout. Text printed in Golden type in black and red, specimen pages in Troy and Chaucer types. Erratum slip tipped-in to colophon leaf. Original holland-backed boards, front cover lettered in black, edges untrimmed. Some minor repairs to spine, corners very slightly rubbed: a very good copy.
