FIRST EDITION, 8vo, pp. [44]. Original stapled buff card wrappers, grey paper dustjacket printed in black and red. A few faint marks. Dampmark along foot of spine, dustjacket faded to extremities. Drafted two-page letter to author loosely inserted. The first edition of the first collection by Canadian poet Irving Layton (1912-2006).
