For the authors, meaningful scientific inquiry originates with children's own ideas. Students then work collaboratively to explore those ideas, develop hypotheses, and conduct focused investigations. Jody Hall is an associate professor of education at Pine Manor College. She previously served as the coordinator of elementary education at Middlebury College. The classroom teachers who contributed to Organizing Wonder teach in Bristol and Middlebury, Vermont.
