The Indian-born multi-disciplinary artist explores the cartographic aspects of story-telling though immersive installations and video art. Heart of Silence is one of his iconic works where his films were screened inside a specially-built 'house' structure. Contains the essay 'A Shrine of Aftermath: Owais Husain's Heart of Silence' by Ranjit Hoskote, and an interview conducted by S. DiLaura in Dubai, 2015 (where this installation took place). Husain is the son of painter Maqbool Fida Husain.
