Although not dated, the British Library date all these titles as being published in 1911. We have not been able to find out if further titles were published. First editions. 17 volumes, series editor R Hooper Pearson, original green paper-covered boards, mounted colour illustrated print on the front of each book and each book is illustrated with 8 colour plates. Some volumes also have black & white plates. Fore and bottom edges roughly trimmed, some spotting to edges of most volumes. Some volumes have tanned or spotted endpapers and most have a degree of spotting to the pages, some quite heavy. Some boards/spines are tanned, slight damp damage to one. Pencil signatures to inner endpapers of some volumes.
