Green printed wrappers, small 4to, 48 pp, 5 plates, ills. 308 lots. From the foreword: "The collection which is offered here bears comparison with the Applewhaite-Abbott collection, although, of course, it is of more recent formation. It is particularly rich in flower and millefiori weights, many of them dated, and contains, too, an interesting collection of miniature paperweights. Another interesting section of the sale is the large collection of vases and lamps by the celebrated French artist, Emile Galle of Nancy (died 1904). The techniques employed included cutting, etching and engraving, and the glass itself is often formed of different coloured layers."
