Damage to book cover, esp at spine; marked covers, esp rear; gift inscription on front free end paper dated 1946 (hence assumed first published in that year but could equally be a year or so beforehand); odd mark internally though generally clean, tidy and good.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within two business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. Unless indicated otherwise, shipping to a UK address is included in the indicated shipping price, regardless of the weight, though please refer to the relevant individual listings in case of any exceptions. For orders from outside UK, if the required book weighs in excess of 1kg when packed, I may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
