About this Item

First edition, for which Warhol designed his first dust jacket, credited to "Andy Warhaw" at the bottom of the front flap. Warhol was an award-winning illustrator in the 1950s before his rise to fame. He went on to create at least half a dozen more designs for dust jackets. Aaron Marc Stein was a writer born in New York City who published over 100 novels. Octavo. Original buckram boards, spine lettered in green. With dust jacket by Andy Warhol. Spine foot bumped, contents a little toned; bright jacket slightly rubbed, small loss to foot of rear panel, a few closed tears to edges, the longest measuring 6.5 cm, tape reinforcement on verso, unclipped: a very good copy in like jacket.
