VG, 1st ed, 1807. In blue three quarter crushed morocco over marbled boards, gilt tooling, corners and edges lightly bumped and worn. Spine, raised bands, attractive gilt tooling, titles in gilt, edges lightly bumped and worn. Internally, marbled matching endpapers, (xvii), [1], 222 pp, printed by W Wilson, ffep and ep are watermarked Linen 1876, title page verso has a contemporary dedication, t.e.g., occasional spotting. (186*112 mm). This whimsical treatise contains the first and earliest reference to the custom of bundling in America. References are also made to the same practice in Holland and Wales. According to the author, marriage frequently ensues! Dubois, writer, who urged by publishers, Thomas Hood (1759?-1811) and his partner Sharpe, produced a satirical pamphlet entitled My pocket-book, or, Hints for a 'ryghte merrie and conceitede tour', in quarto, to be called, 'The stranger in Ireland' (1805). Buyer is responsible for any additional duties, taxes, or fees required by recipient's country.
Everything is returnable if not as described and notice is given promptly on receipt of the goods. However this does not mean that automatically goods are sent out on approval. Any return is entirely the responsibility of the returnee, and the Post Office is the preferred carrier.
Any item to be returned should be done so within 14 days of receipt, postage will be paid.

We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail, or carrier. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
