Small marginal burn-hole to leaf D7, scattered spotting. A scarce work concerning the religious aspects of time by Edward Pelling (bap. 1640, d. 1718), Chaplain in Ordinary to William and Mary, and later Queen Anne. 'To Redeem, is to recover that which was once Lost, and when we apply it to Time, it signifies the Recovering of those Hours, which have been mispent, and thrown away; by Labouring hard for the Future, to employ every Minute we have to good purpose'.
