Fold-out plan of the Ruins at Finchale, 4 engravings to 3 plates plus numerous depictions of seals and facsimile signatures in text. Dark green cloth with gilt titles, ruling and Society crest to spine. Top edge stained green. Cover cloth faintly sunned to spine and a little bruised to edges, with minor wear at head of spine. Armorial bookplate to front pastedown and masonic bookplate of the William Waples Collection of Durham to ffep; no annotation or inscriptions. Inner rear hinge cracked but firmly holding. Foxing to endpapers, prelims & Index, and plates toned & foxed otherwise contents clean - the majority of leaves unopened. Overall condition: Very Good. Collected documents relating to Finchale Priory in County Durham. Mainly Latin text.
