FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. xii, [2], 194. Frontispiece and numerous monochrome photographs throughout. Publisher's navy cloth with white titles to spine in an unclipped pictorial dust-jacket with white titles; royal blue endpapers, with letter addressed to 1960s racing driver Julian Sutton loosely inlaid. Slight bruising to spine tips and corners; jacket shows a hint of surface rubbing. A Near Fine book in Very Good jacket. From the library of 1960s British racing driver, Julian Sutton, with a letter inlaid addressed to Julian returning his book. An account of the hard work and determination needed to be a private entrant in the Grand Prix competing for the World Championship during the first half of the 20th century, with a foreword by Stirling Moss.
