[Adventure Fiction] LEATHER-BOUND FIRST US EDITION. Octavo (21 x 14cm), pp.[2] 279 [7]. Recently re-bound in black half calf, with raised bands, gilt titles to spine, and matching cloth over boards. With the original illustrated softcovers by Roseanne Serra and Richie Fahey bound in at rear. A clean copy presented in an attractive new leather binding. A paperback original; no American hardcover was published. This omnibus contains all of Fleming's nine original James Bond short stories and novellas, previously issued in hardback as as For Your Eyes Only (1960, five stories) and Octopussy (1966, two stories). The short story '007 In New York' features and introduction by Ian Fleming's literary agent Peter Janson-Smith (1922-2016). Gilbert E18b.
