Medium 8vo (238 mm); xii, 419 pp; 34 photographic plates (including the frontispiece), 74 line drawings in the text (including on the titlepage) and 24 plans (of churches, abbeys and priories mainly). Original red cloth with gilt lettering and decoration to front and spine, spine slightly faded and tips of the corners bumped. Top edge of the pages gilt. Ex-libris J.A. McMordie, with his book label. A VG copy. Architecture in the French and Spanish Pyrenees.
