8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall; 323 pp; First Edition. Book has previous owners' names, pages unmarked, original blue fabric with blind embossed flag on front cover, silver gilt spine text starting to wear but still readable, corners bumped, pages age toned. No jacket. A nice, clean, tight and attractive book. Served in Kentucky First Cavalry.
