William Heinemann. 1905. First edition. Hardback. No DW. Green cloth, decorated in gilt. Spine faded and also frayed to head and tail. Coloured tipped-in frontis. plus 50 coloured tipped-in plates, all with tissue guards, placed after the main text of the story. Pages lightly foxed, small light ownership name to reverse of half-title. Light occasional foxing to pages and tissue guards, plates clean. Small signs of wear otherwise a very clean and sound copy.
