Marbled paper wrappers with paper cover-label, 8vo, 23 pp. Includes short sections devoted to the Roederer Library (which included 'the finest series of eighteenth-century French books any one connoisseur has ever succeeded inbringing together'), the Drawings, the Bindings, Proofs and Etchings, and the Prints. De Ricci had previously secured the Schuhmann Collection for the famous Anmerican bookseller Rosenbach and had mentioned then that only two other French collections could rival it for illustrated books : those of Henri Beraldi and Louis Orly-Roederer of Reims. In 1922, without de Ricci'sknowledge, Rosenbach purchased the Orly-Roederer collection for 4,100,000 francs, so denying de Ricci a substantial commission, although he was remunerated for his help in disposing of the collection and in preparing a catalogue of the library. Minor wear to top edge of wrappers, otherwise Very Good. Laid in is a small printed card advising that the Roederer Collections are on display at the premises of The Rosenbach Company in New York from 26 November, 1923.
