First edition, first printing. Pictorial card covers (paperback). Illustrated with black and white (and a handful of colour) photographs. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the corners ever so slightly rubbed an the red lettering to the spine a touch faded. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. A collection of Manchester and Salford street scenes, many of children at play, taken during the 1960s and 1970s, which poignantly capture a way of life and a cityscape that was soon to disappear.
