Hegel structures the Science of Logic in two parts. The first, Objective Logic, deals with "being" and "essence", while the second, Subjective Logic, deals with "concept". The Science of Logic was originally published in three parts between 1812 and 1816 as the Wissenschaft der Logik. 2 vols, octavo. Folding table in vol. 1. Original dark red cloth, spine lettered, ruled, and with publisher's device in gilt. Very light rubbing and sunning, minor browning to contents: a near-fine copy.
