Octavo, three volume set. xv,471,[12]; xii,523,[9]; xvi,531,[11]. Contemporary half red morocco, gilt bandsw and decoration to spines, lettering direct. The cloth sides are blemished, there are some slight vertical creases to the spines, but joints and hinges are secure. Few spots endpapers and prelims, sl stain at foot of prelim leaves of volume one. Overall a good solid set, quite attarctive on the shelves. With the engraved bookplates of Beeston Long (1759-1820), of Combe House Surrey, West India Trader and Governor of the Bank of England. Seller Inventory # 25259
