Ex library copy with dustwrapper (sans inner flaps) fixed to boards, new endpapers (first page left is half-title, last page is final page of text), library label on new f/ep, in stamp on rev of title page. Minor bumping to spine ends and corners, page 71-72 has been torn out but still present, old grubby marks on some other pages, so really more of a reading copy. Not a common title in any edition, one of the author's many stories featuring Mrs Bradly, this one involves a dead man in a lighthouse on an island also occupied by a prison and a boys school. Also issued in German as "Mord auf Skeleton Island". 213pp. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
